SILKA

Silka Schwiegerling's great passion and inspiration is music. She even goes a step further and claims "Music is oxygen for me". Through self-reflection and their empathic powers of observation, short poems and texts about love and life are created. The idea of “Poem in a box” deals on the one hand with the open handling of feelings such as longing, loneliness and pain, but on the other hand with closing as many sensations as possible ... like a small music box that can be closed and opened as required can be. At the same time as the exhibition, a big dream comes true for Silka. She was given the opportunity to write lyrics for a befriended band from the Ruhr area.
